Currently you have the option of make Table / Bracket stages or All vs. All tournament format, with several options.
In Challenge Place the tournament format are based on stages, and a challenge can have 1 or more stages, you can add as many stages as you like.
Some options are pre-defined based on the modality you choose, for example if you choose “Formula 1” modality the type of the matches will be what we call “all vs. all”, which is like an ordered grid of competitors.
A “Soccer” challenge in the “World Cup” tournament format, for example, can have a stage of each type, a qualifying stage of the “Table” type and a knockout stage of the “Bracket” type to define the champion.
When creating a table type stage, you can configure how many groups the stage will have, 1 single group (Round-Robin) or several groups.
In “Advanced Options” you will have settings like:
You configure how many points competitors will win in case of Win / Draw / Loss
The columns that will be displayed in the table, such as number of wins, score, rating, latest results and many other options. You can also configure the order of the columns.
In this configuration you can enable some tiebreaker options and configure the order in which they will be applied.

When you create a Bracket type stage, the first step is to define whether it is “Single elimination” or “Double elimination”.
You can choose the number of competitors in the bracket. This number must always be a power of two. To learn more, click here.
Is possible configure the number of matches per series (series with only 1 match, or series with several matches to define who qualifies).
One of the features that Challenge Place offers is the possibility to choose whether you want to consider “away match results to break ties in the series”.
The All vs. All is not necessarily a type of stage, it is defined according to the mode you choose, such as Formula 1.
When creating challenges of certain modalities, the starting rounds model is automatically set to All vs. All, and when creating a stage you will be able to configure:
The number of groups in your stage.
The score that each competitor will receive at the end of each round. You can create positions and define how many points each will receive. For example, the first place10 points, and the eighth place 2 points.
