Christian Mawissa signed a 6 year contract with the Blues on the 7th and became Chelsea's 2nd signing of the summer after Argentinian superstar Julian Alvarez. Roger Fernandes deal is expected to be finalised next week as Braga have asked for additional terms which has opened up new negotiations. Chelsea will work on Kjaergaard after Roger Fernandes deal is completed. Chelsea have also announced that they've extended manager Carlo Ancelotti's contract from 2028 to 2030.
Ibrahima Konate is close to agreeing on personal terms with Barcelona, with the Catalan club being his preferred destination. Barcelona have reportedly offered him a 4 year contract. Liverpool have reached an agreement for the signing of Antonio Silva from Benfica for an initial fee of 50 million euros with 10 million euros in easy add-ons. The Reds will sign a 5 year contract with the Portuguese centre-back once he returns from the World Cup.
Arsenal have begun working on the signing of Sam Beukema from Fiorentina for a reported fee of 35 million euros. Glasner wants the player to add depth to their back line. RB Leipzig have made an offer worth 20 million euros for Sacha Boey, which has been accepted by Arsenal. Player is currently in negotiations with German club and the deal is expected to be finalised next week.
Man United have started working on the transfer of Nathan Collins as Ferguson has officially joined the club this week, having completed his medicals. Negotiations with player and club are continuing, the deal is expected to take longer than the Ferguson transfer as Man United are attempting to get favourable terms on club level while Nathan Collins is only willing to join if he is given a drastically higher wage than what he is currently earning. Manuel Ugarte could be on the way out to Arabia per rumours, as Al-Ittihad have shown interest in the midfielder. Man United have also started monitoring Anthony Gordon's situation.
Chevalier is now officially a City player, as he travelled to Manchester after the World Cup to sign with the Citizens. Man City will soon begin a push for Hugo Ekitike, however PSG are also working towards Ekitike deal and thus the process will be tough. Brighton have began working on Sverre Nypan deal from Everton as Nmecha transfer has grown unlikelier with other clubs involved in European competitions showing interest in the player. Everton ask for 40 million euros and Brighton are willing to finalise the transfer as soon as possible. Josh Sargent deal is still on the cards, though Brighton prioritise a midfield signing first. Ahmedhodzic and Diego Moreira are also on Brighton list. Pascal Groß is on the verge of completing a move to Stuttgart for a fee of 15 million euros.
Napoli have completed the signing of Donyell Malen from Wolves this week for a fee of 18 million euros, with the Dutch national signing a 3 year contract with the Italian side. Wolves have also made progress on Yan Couto deal from Dortmund, 25 million euro deal expected to be completed soon.
