Following Southampton's comfortable 3-1 win over Swansea City, both Coventry and Swansea are confirmed to be relegated to the Championship. Coventry had a disappointing yet expected season, being able to only collect 19 points in 34 games as the club struggled massively in the first half of the season, even if they were able to nick some wins in the second half. Swansea found themselves in dreadful form this season after failing to improve their squad in the summer, scoring the least amount of goals in the league. Leicester City remain to fight another day thanks to their 3-0 win over Coventry, though there still remains a 5 point gap between them and Southampton for them to close in the last 4 games.
