Following the final game of matchday 33, Southampton and Leicester announced back to back changes in their managerial positions. A social media statement by Southampton announced that Daniel Farke's contract had been terminated by the club, while another statement from Leicester City confirmed reports that Paul Heckingbottom would become manager of the club.

Other reports have surfaced that the Brighton board is planning to part ways with Graham Potter following the conclusion of the season, unhappy with the club's performance despite all the money spent on transfers. Though it is certain Potter will finish out the season, his future at the club is uncertain.
