This monday, 2 days after Arsenal's 1-0 loss to Everton, Arsenal manager Thomas Tuchel announced his exit from the club at the end of the 2025-2026 season through a video in Arsenal's official Twitter account. Though the announcement has been a shock to many, the departure had been speculated in the media for a long time following Arsenal failing to enter the title race for the 3rd year in a row.

The German manager thanked the club and the fans in the video, citing that he was going to leave so that the club would be able to take a new step forward. While Arsenal aren't expected to announce their new manager until the end of the season, there are rumours about former captain and current Real Sociedad manager Mikel Arteta and Nottingham Forest's Olivier Glasner.
