Unai Emery: "We apologise to the fans very deeply, and we promise we'll be back"

Manchester United manager Unai Emery, who has been put under heavy criticism for the team's recent results spoke to the press following the team's 2-0 loss to Tottenham. When asked about their msot recent performances, Emery replied:
"You cannot always be at your best and we're aware of that. But we know that doesn't excuse the poor results. I can see the players give it their all, I give it my all. If something isn't working out, then it is my responsibility to fix. And I promise to the fans I will do just that."
Later, Emery spoke about potential reinforcements:
"I will not give names but we are working on identifying our weaknesses and looking for the most suitable players to fill. I expect it to be busy january window for us, we will definitely make a few signings."
When asked about his future at the club, he responded:
"For now, the board has their full trust in me and I will continue trying my best. I haven't considered resigning, I believe our problems all have a cure, we just have to find it. We will recover."
Manchester United fans have already started calling for the sacking of Unai Emery on social media, as the club have only managed to gather 10 points in their last 9 games.
