After an awkward moment around the edge of the box for Newcastle’s defence; Dasilva slides a pass through to the clinical Marmoush. He shows no sign of hesitation and fires the ball into the net once again, completely out of the keeper’s reach! Is this the end of the game for Newcastle?

MARTINELLI TAKE A BOW! Despite not contributing to the goal, Gabriel Martinelli toys around with a defender, before nutmegging him mesmerisingly and playing a ball into the box for Curtis Jones to hit into space. Lurking in that space was Leandro Trossard, who does well to beat the keeper from an awkward position and grab himself a brace!

Stoke lead again! This time it’s Omar Marmoush on the end of a pass from Lankester, who ups his assist tally to two this game. It’s a brilliant strike into the top left corner to see the Potters return to the lead.

Leandro Trossard converts from the spot! The penalty is placed neatly into the bottom right corner, the keeper dived the right way but couldn’t quite reach far enough to stop the shot. The game is level once again right before half time.

Rob Dickie gives away a penalty with a foul on Phil Foden on the verge of halt-time. Newcastle have a huge chance to score their leveller.

Despite all the momentum coming from the opposition, Stoke break the deadlock! Bilal El Khannouss creates himself some space in the box and his movement is met with Jack Lankester’s pass, before the ball finds its way past the Newcastle keeper.
