On June 1, the UAF confirmed the official schedule for the Ukrainian Premier League, where they confirmed each matchday's main date and announced the official timings of the winter break.

We have already known for a while that the Ukrainian Premier League start date is the weekend of Saturday 9 August 2025 and will conclude on Sunday 24 May 2025. But the UAF have today confirmed winter break dates and more.

The Ukrainian Premier League is starting two weeks later than usual, and one week later than last season. This was because of an approved change (14-4) which allowed the UPL to start the season later in exchange for shortening the winter break.

The winter break will start at the same time, concluding after Matchday 16 which will take place on the weekend of Saturday 13 December 2025. The season is expected to resume on the weekend of Saturday 24 January 2026, which is now a week earlier than usual.

Furthermore, there will be four international breaks for one week: September 1-9, October 6-14, November 10-18, March 23-31

The season will once again conduct 306 matches, with each team playing 34 games, one home and one away game against each other team in the league.

However, a key part of the Ukrainian Premier League calendar is registration. The Ukrainian Premier League has always had two registration windows, and this season will be no different.

The first registration window will open on June 1 (today) and end on September 6 to give time for each team to sort any last minute moves and registration details.

The second registration window will open on January 1 2026 and close on February 4 2026, for the same reason as the first registration window.

The deadline day for both registration windows will be 11:59pm EET on the two days. Once the registration window closes, the team is unable to unregister or register anymore of their players.

Fielding an ineligible player (either unregistered or suspended) will result in points deduction and potential forfeit.
