Weekend Recap: Arsenal fly to the top as Chelsea beat Liverpool

Bournemouth and Fulham kicked off the weekend on Friday evening. Bournemouth scored three goals within the last fifteen minutes to take a 3-1 win. Bournemouth continued their impressive start as they currently lie in 4th place.
Leeds and Tottenham played in the Saturday lunchtime match. Tottenham emerged victorious after a tight game with a 1-2 scoreline. Tottenham are currently in 3rd place, two points behind leaders Arsenal. Speaking of Arsenal, they took a routine 2-0 win over West Ham on Saturday afternoon. In the other afternoon game Man United returned to winning ways through a 2-0 win over Sunderland. On Saturday evening Chelsea and Liverpool faced in a crucial matchup. Moises Caicedo gave an early lead for Chelsea but Cody Gakpo equalized in the second half. On added however Estevao scored the winner for Chelsea with his career's first Premier League goal. Liverpool have now most two consecutive games and have lost their lead to Arsenal.
On Sunday afternoon we saw four matches. Aston Villa took their second win in a row by beating Burnley 2-1. Crystal Palace lost for the first time in the league since April as Everton beat them 2-1. Newcastle took a 2-0 win over Nottingham who are still waiting for their first win under Ange Postecoglou. Bottom of the table Wolves and Brighton drew 1-1. On Sunday evening Erling Haaland scored the only goal as Man City took a 1-0 away win at Brentford. City are now 5th with a five-point gap to the top. Premier League takes a break for international games and games return on the 18th.
