Weekend Recap: Brighton stun Man City, Aston Villa keep struggling

Chelsea and Fulham opened the action on Saturday. The talking point was Fulham's goal being wrongly ruled out. Chelsea emerged victorious with a 2-0 win. Man United took their first win of the season against Burnley. A late penalty goal sealed a 3-2 win after a tight match. Sunderland also took all three points after a late 2-1 goal against Brentford. Sunderland have now won both games at home and gathered six points from their first three games. Bournemouth stunned Spurs with a 1-0 away win. Tottenham had a perfect start to the season under Thomas Frank but The Cherries took an impressive win. Wolves have had a tough start to the campaign and it continued in their home game against Everton. Everton's new signings Grealish and Dewsbury-Hall were the stars of the game as Everton took a 3-2 win. Everton are now on a two game win streak, while Wolverhampton are the only team without any points so far. Leeds and Newcastle finished the Saturday with a goalless draw at Elland Road. Leeds have also started well for a promoted team with 4 points from three matches.
On Sunday Brighton surprised Man City with a 2-1 win at home. City took an early lead but Brighton came back in the second half and scored the winner in the 89th minute. West Ham took an impressive 3-0 away in Nottingham. West Ham had been beaten in their first two games whereas Nottingham looked strong from the start. New West Ham striker Callum Wilson also scored his first goal for The Hammers. Liverpool and Arsenal faced in a vital game on Sunday. Liverpool emerged victorious with a beautiful freekick from Dominik Szoboszlai. Liverpool are now the only with a perfect record after three rounds. The last action of the weekend was Aston Villa hosting Crystal Palace. Palace took a very impressive 3-0 away win and Palace are yet to lose this season. Villa on the other hand have had a difficult start and have only gathered one point from their three matches.
