Season Preview: Aston Villa looking for another top 6 finish

Aston Villa are starting their 7th consecutive season in the Premier League. The first three seasons Villa struggled in the lower half of the table. Since Unai Emery took charge in the 2022-23 season things have changed. Villa have finished in the European places every season since and are once again a contender even for top 4.
The transfer window has been quiet for Villa. The only significant arrival has been winger Evann Guessand who joined from OGC Nice. Out of the other arrivals Yasin Özcan and Zépiqueno Redmond are stars for the future rather than the present. The fourth arrival has been backup goalkeeper Marco Bizot.
Outgoings have also been sparse for Villa. Only youngsters Kaine Kesler-Hayden and Filip Marschall have left the club. The biggest losses have been loanees Marcus Rashford, Marco Asensio and Axel Disasi returning to their parent clubs. Especially Rashford and Asensio were regular starters for Villa.
Not much has changed at Villa Park for the upcoming season. New signings are still possible but without any changes it's hard to see Villa moving much in the table. Unai Emery will definitely continue his impressive reign in charge of Villa but it is also hard to see where any big improvements could come from.
My prediction: 6th
