Bournemouth are starting their third season under Andoni Iraola. The Spanish manager has guided the club to two consecutive mid-table finishes, comfortably clear of the relegation fight. Last season Bournemouth had their most successful season ever by finish 9th with 56 points. At times Bournemouth were even in the fight for European places.

Some big tranfers have happened at Bournemouth this summer but mainly out of the club. Only two players have arrived at the Vitality Stadium this window. Goalkeeper Đorđe Petrović joined from Chelsea to replace outgoing Kepa as the number one keeper. French left-back Adrien Truffert also joined from Stade Rennais, mainly as a replacement for Milos Kerkez.

In total Bournemouth have made over 100 million pounds from outgoing transfers. Dean Huijsen joined Real Madrid and Milos Kerkez Liverpool in the biggest moves. Jaidon Anthony, Mark Travers and Joe Rothwell have also left on smaller fees. PSG have been after defender Illya Zabarnyi but as of now the Ukrainian has stayed at Bournemouth.

It is yet unclear what plans Bournemouth have for the rest of the transfer window. Especially in defence some new signigns would be expected after Huijsen's departure. If Zabarnyi was to leave, the backbone of the team would have been almost totally dismantled. The goalie, left-back and one centre-back are already gone. The Cherries have made some money from the transfers and there should still be plenty in the bank. Iraola has done a very good job so far but can replicate last year's success despite all the changes? That is the key quiestion.

My prediction: 12th
