Season Preview: Leeds looking for survival after record-breaking season

Leeds are back in the Premier League after a two-year absence. After a whirlwind campaign in the 2022-23 season, the team were relegated to the Championship. The following season Leeds agonizingly missed out on promotion in the Playoff-final against Southampton. They came back stronger however and reigned champions with a massive 100-point haul.
Leeds have invested heavily in midfield and defense this summer. Key signings include Anton Stach and Sean Longstaff in midfield and Jaka Bijol and Gabriel Gudmundsson in defense. Goalkeeper Lucas Perri also arrived from Lyon and is expected to take over from Illan Meslier as the number one keeper. Lukas Nmecha joined on a free and will be providing backup for striker Joël Piroe.
Attacking firepower was lost this summer as Manor Solomon returned to Tottenham from a successful loan spell. Some new signings upfront are therefore expected before the window closes. The other notable departure was Junior Firpo whose contract wasn't extended.
At this point Leeds look like the best contender for survival out of the promoted teams. Avoiding the drop is however something that manager Daniel Farke was unable to achieve previously at the helm of Norwich City.
My prediction: 18th
