Club legend returns to FC Tucosala Shihon
5 months ago - 7/31/2025 6:49 AM GMT-3
Viktor Pederski, a 30-year-old Deessacran veteran centreback, has made the decision to reunite with his former club. He started his career at FC Tucosala Shihon, playing a high number of non-competitive matches for the then-amateur club before signing for the Deessacran giants FC Destra in 2022. Pederski had enjoyed a great spell at the club, starting most of the games for Destra and putting in good performances for nearly three years.

His age started catching up with him, though, and eventually Destra started opting for younger players in his position. With less than a year left on his contract, Pederski started looking for a new club where he could still make an impact. Many National League 2 clubs were interested in his services, but when he was approached by Tucosala, he could not resist the urge to return to his former home. He signed a two-year deal with the club shortly after becoming a free agent.

"I'm delighted to announce the signing of Tucosala's legend, who opted for us despite a lot of interest from elsewhere. This is a huge morale boost for both the fans and the whole team, and will improve our chances of advancing to the championship round of the conference." the owner of FC Tucosala Shihon announced.

"I'm really happy to return to my true home, Tucosala. I had a lot of interesting offers on the table, but when the Tucosala owner called me and asked if I was interested in coming back, I knew this was the right decision for me. I'm thankful for the experience and memories I got at Destra, but my career is slowly coming to an end and I'm glad I can spend the last few years of it here." said Viktor Pederski at the conference.

With this acquisition, FC Tucosala are more likely to challenge for promotion to the Alekiri National League. Time will tell how much this helps the club.
