Takishingu United had qualified for the super cup as the winner of the AFA Cup, leaving their league spot to Atarashi FC. Whilst they were favorites to lift this trophy for their second time, the competition included two elite clubs who certainly did not give up on this competition. The semifinal had seen them a fierce competitive rival of theirs - Port Takai FC. Thanks to a single early goal, Takishingu advanced into the final after a narrow 1-0 win.
In the final, they faced Atarashi FC, for whom it was the first appearance in the competition since the Autumn 2024 season. On their way to the final, Atarashi FC beat last season's surprise AFA Cup finalists Chikai Saints comfortably 3-0. In the final, though, Atarashi FC lacked quality in defense and lost to Takishingu 1-3, who claimed their second AFA Super Cup trophy after losing in the final last season.
