TALON bench mhL

Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak has been moved to TALON's bench and is "free to explore options with no buyout and play [practices]/officials with teams (with prior TALON approval)," the 22-year-old sniper announced on X.

He was the team's highest-rated player during his tenure, averaging a 1.16 rating over 44 maps.

The move comes after a deflated start to life for the Oceanic roster which only came together in August last year.

TALON notably qualified for the Perfect World Shanghai Major Asia RMR and upset FlyQuest in their opener, but subsequent back-to-back losses to Rare Atom and Lynn Vision meant they missed out on the Major proper.

The team also competed in a handful of online European cups before the Asia RMR but won just four out of their 12 matches. They are currently ranked No. 246 in Valve's Global Ranking (No. 32 in Asia) and No. 108 on HLTV.

mhL and Aaron "AZR" Ward have both been absent from the four officials TALON played in the new year, with the team competing in Oceanic competitions with Euan "sterling" Moore and Liam "malta" Schembri instead.

After the move, TALON looks as follows:

Australia - Aaron "AZR" Ward
New Zealand - Corey "nettik" Browne
Australia - Jared "hazr" O'Bree
New Zealand - Christian "ADDICT" Pendleton

Sweden - Daniel "djL" Narancic (coach)

Poland - Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak (benched)
