JiJieHao have completed the signing of former Monte and Falcons player Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas, the Chinese organization announced on Monday.
The 20-year-old links up with JiJieHao on a permanent basis after playing for the team as a stand-in in the 0-2 loss to SINNERS last week in the ESL Challenger League. He will replace fellow Jordanian Issa "ISSAA" Murad, who has been moved to the bench.
BOROS had been searching for a new team since October, when he was released by Into the Breach after two months on the bench. He had played for the team for only 41 days before being replaced by Hristiyan "REDSTAR" Pironkov, revealing in a social media post that he was "happy" to be placed on the bench for the first time in his career.
In a post on X, JiJieHao explained that the change "is about making the right adjustments to help us push forward and unlock our full potential." The team has yet to win a match in ESL Challenger League and recently crashed out of the closed qualifier for BLAST Rising Asia in 9th-12th place following losses to Rare Atom and Fated Rise.
The new JiJieHao lineup is making its first official appearance in the MENA Closed Qualifier for MESA Asian Masters, a studio event in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, that will act as a qualifier for PGL Bucharest 2025.
