Breno "brnz4n" Poletto has been moved back into MIBR's starting lineup, the Brazilian organization confirmed on Wednesday. He will fill the vacancy created by André "drop" Abreu's benching after a string of poor results.

On X, Raphael "exit" Lacerda confirmed that he will take over captaincy duties, returning to the role he held between January 2023 and August 2024.

A product of the MIBR Academy, brnz4n was promoted to the main squad in May 2022 following Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato's benching. He spent over two years on the starting roster before making way for Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves in September 2024.

"Very happy to play with these guys, who I have always been very fond of," he wrote on X. "Thank you, MIBR, for trusting me again. I had a lot of time to mentally reset from everything I was going through to come back at 200% and hungry to win."

MIBR hope that the change will breathe new life into the team, which has won only two of seven LAN matches in 2025. The Brazilian outfit recently crashed out of PGL Cluj-Napoca in 12th-14th place, beating Imperial Valkyries and losing to Wildcard, 3DMAX and Astralis.

The new MIBR lineup will make its first official appearance in the Play-In stage of ESL Pro League 21, which will kick off on March 1. In Stockholm, the team is expected to be coached by Jhonatan "jnt" Silva, who will reportedly replace Bruno "BIT" Fukuda Lima in the role.

MIBR are now:

Brazil - Raphael "exit" Lacerda
Brazil - Rafael "saffee" Costa
Brazil - Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves
Brazil - Felipe "insani" Yuji
Brazil - Breno "brnz4n" Poletto

Brazil - André "drop" Abreu (benched)
