9z has announced the signing of Adam "adamS" Marian, who takes over the open spot on the roster after Franco "dgt" Garcia stepped down from the starting five.

The former Movistar Riders player has made the journey to Argentina and is already with his new teammates. He's slated to make his debut against ODDIK on Wednesday when 9z play their CCT Season 2 South American Series 7 playoffs opener.

adamS, who was raised in Spain but is originally from Romania, had previously played on the best teams from either country, Nexus and Movistar Riders (later KOI), and even made the PGL CS2 Major in Copenhagen with the latter, as well as reaching the ESL Pro League Season 18 quarter-finals.

During that ESL Pro League run, adamS played alongside AWPer Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez, beating 9z in the second round of playoffs on the way to a quarter-final finish. Now, the two are reunited, but this time sporting the Argentinean club's purple jersey.

9z are now:

Uruguay Maximiliano - "max" Gonzalez
Argentina Luca - "Luken" Nadotti
Spain Antonio - "MartinezSa" Martinez
Chile Matias - "HUASOPEEK" Ibañez Hernandez
Romania - Adam "adamS" Marian

Brazil - Gustavo "yel" Knittel (coach)
