On the evening of June 25th, Solitsa United announced that Arceusjagrad Arsenal manager Thorbjuurn "Feraligatr" Marks will be their next manager effective immediately. This was not unexpected, as while he was with the Black, Gold and Browns, he has used his squad well, becoming a high-mid table team, especially boosted with players like Xavi Simons, Dejan Kulusevski, and Mateo Retegui. As well as that, the Whitecaps wanted a manager that would work in the long term, as the board suggested that it would make the team consistently better, along with being more competitive in competitions, and be smarter with transfers. This has seemed to work so far, as on that same night, possibly after the hiring was leaked, they also confirmed the signings of goalkeeper Dominik "Gliscor" Hunt and attacking midfielder Martin "Buizel" Vernon from KR Alola for a combined 75 million euros, much of that was gained with the sale of former 1st choice goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili to Liverpool.

On why the board specifically chose Feraligatr, SUFC chairman Radovan Baumgordner stated; "I saw him command the defense, if not all other 10 men on the field for DFK Tevý back when I was young. I thought he had the potential to be a great gaffer amongst the team! Then, I saw him manage Arceusjagrad and I told myself... He is the one!" Solitsa fans will be hoping for a great debut for him, as Solitsa are preparing for a matchup in the Mixopolan Super Cup against "Da Klasziczker" rivals SK Safron at Cinderacegrad. We can only hope for the best for the new gaffer.
