Vibe Stormbirds Dominate Gore Wolves 62–20 on the road

GORE, OK — The Vibe Stormbirds showed no mercy on the road Tuesday night, rolling past the Gore Wolves with a commanding 62–20 victory in front of a stunned home crowd. The Stormbirds came out firing from the opening kickoff, jumping to a 35–6 halftime lead and never looking back.
The Stormbirds’ defense set the tone early — and none more than their standout left defensive tackle, Jermiah Holden, who earned MVP honors after an incredible performance that will be talked about for weeks. Holden recorded seven sacks, four tackles for loss, and even snagged an interception, leading a defensive front that completely dismantled Gore’s offensive line.
“Our energy was unmatched tonight,” Holden said postgame. “We wanted to make a statement — and I think we did.”
On offense, Vibe’s tempo and balance kept the Wolves off-balance all night. The Stormbirds executed with precision, turning short drives into long scores and controlling both sides of the ball. By the fourth quarter, the game was well out of reach, allowing the Stormbirds to rotate in younger players and still maintain dominance.
With this win, Vibe improves to 11–2 and will now turn their focus to their next major challenge — a matchup with the 10–3 Hogan Timberwolves. The Stormbirds will travel one hour and 20 minutes back to Owasso to regroup and prepare for what promises to be a heavyweight battle next Monday night.
“This team is hungry,” newly crowned head coach William Art said. “We respect Hogan — they’re well-coached and physical — but our guys are confident and focused. The mission isn’t over.”
