HFL S7 Preseason Power Rankings Part 1
8 days ago - 3/1/2025 12:05 AM GMT-3
It’s that time again! HFL power rankings are back for S7, new logo and all! As we usher in a new era of HFL football, we will take a look at the power rankings for the preseason!

10: Tampa Bay Bucaneers
Well, the Bucs have no players or anything, but as we head into the preseason, there are rumors circulating that this team will be the group of HFL ogs, Avonte, Bennett, Liam, Hybrid, Tiger, Fates, and possibly myself. This could turn into a dangerous team that could even be better than the Rams, this team will be underrated, but I think if this happens then the Bucs could end up going far this season.

9: Seattle Seahawks
This team could be more hopeless than the Bucs. They’re ranked higher because they have players, but they’re actively falling apart and it’s not going to look pretty for them. The Seahawks have to get into signing players or they will be the last place team in the NFC.

8: Dallas Cowboys
Now is where this gets entertaining. All of the teams from here on out are going to be contenders, and here I have Dallas, only because of their lack of players. With only 5 or 6 players, if they have a bunch of players missing a game, it could end with them forfeiting the game. Other than that, this team could be good and contend for the 2 seed in the NFC.

7: Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals have a decent amount of players, but what it comes down to is the question, can mint put together one more award winning season to continue the legacy of the bengals? If he can, this team will contend for one of the lower seeds in the AFC, if he can’t, this team might be doomed and finish in 5th in the AFC, missing the playoffs.

6: Los Angeles Rams
A lot of people will critisize me for this, but I think this is accurate. The Rams are going to flop. A lot of people would disagree with me, but with my reasoning, I feel like the Rams are just a weaker version of last season’s Jets. They lack the D-Line and O-Line the Jets had last season, and will face the same QB problems that the Jets did last season. The players have grown, but Bris has lacked, filling up some of his roster with players who won’t make all too much of an impact. The majority of the roster will be good enough to get the 2 or 3 seed in the NFC, but I don’t see them being able to compete with the Bears, or even the Eagles/Bucs if Avonte returns to own. Expect the Rams to be either first round exits or destroyed by the Bears in the NFC conference championship.

5: New York Jets
While I can argue the same thing for the Jets that I just argued for the Rams, as the Jets are mostly the Jags, I do think the players who aren’t the Jags are better than the ones who weren’t on the Jets who are now on the Rams. Dugger and Rocket on a D-Line and O-Line will be by far the best D-Line and O-Line combo in the HFL, along with having Mal, now a global RB not having to share carries in the backfield with another RB, the run game for the Jets will be deadly again. Soar is the answer to the QB problems, pairing him with his friends from the Jags, along with Alex and Hawk. Add the best O-Line in the league and the offense from the Jets won’t be a problem. The defense might continue to lack in the secondary though, that being the main reason they aren’t higher.

4: Miami Dolphins
We are now into the teams that will make the playoffs without a doubt. The Dolphins struggled with inactivity last season, although this season that shouldn’t be an issue. The Dolphins are the team who have the main chance to beat the big 3 teams(Colts, Steelers, Bears), and I feel like this team has a chance to make a run to the Super Bowl. With Henry at the helm, the Dolphins will be a deadly force who will not be stopped by many teams.

3: Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are the Vikings but with a few additions, and their major loss being Ice. That won’t affect much though, as we can still expect the Colts to be serious contenders to win the AFC and maybe even the Super Bowl.
