HFL S6 Report Cards Part 1
last month - 2/23/2025 8:37 PM GMT-3
Hello again everyone! It’s time to take a look at the S6 HFL Team Report Cards! We will take a look at what each team did well, ok, and badly. Who had the best report card? Find that out when we take a look at them right now.

Chicago Bears: A+
The Bears had everything go their way this season, they joined a club with only the S4 Saints to go undefeated in the regular season and playoffs. Slayer had a fantastic season, winning MVP and SBMVP, and Tokyo had one as well, winning OPOY. They would beat the crap out of some teams, and others they would only win by a small margin, but managing to go undefeated is no small feat. This Bears team might go into HFL history as one of the most dominant teams ever.

Minnesota Vikings: A-
For all of the hype this team was given in the preseason and in weeks 1 and 2 after a strong start, this team did slow down. Going 6-4 and having home field advantage and the 2 seed come down to the last game of the season is something that not many people would’ve seen in the cards. Drewz had a great season, winning ROTY, and Ice winning COTY is something good for him as well. The main obstacle in this team’s road though, was the Chicago Bears. The Bears handed the Vikings 3 losses this season, 2 in the regular season and the other one in the NFC title game. They did manage to keep the bears close in all of those games. This season could be looked at as the start of something huge or as a missed opportunity.

New York Giants: B
The Giants started very strong at the start of the season, but it was when one loss made their whole team quit was when it really turned on them. One loss turned into 2, which turned into 3, and so on. This team has to rebuild now, making their job harder in a season that could’ve been so special for them.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: D+
The Bucs were able to start ok, and then it fell apart. They lost something like 5 or 6 straight to end the season, then got killed by the Bears in the wildcard round. Throw in an ownership change and that gives something positive, because now they could have a foundation.

Arizona Cardinals: F-
Well I know there is no F- in grades but I’m giving it to the Cardinals because they were inactive for the most part of the season, and in the 2 games they showed up to, lost and it wasn’t pretty.

Pittsburgh Steelers: A
The Steelers were viewed as a Super Bowl Contender at the start of S6, they fulfilled that prediction. They ended up stumbling closer to the finish line of the regular season, losing their one seed to the Jets, but found their momentum again in the playoffs, beating the Chiefs and Jets on their way to losing the Super Bowl to the Bears. Grand had a great season, winning DPOY, and a pro bowl season from voot also helped. Their Super Bowl loss could be viewed as what could have been, or it could be viewed as a starting point to build on for this season, when this team will come back better and stronger than before.

New York Jets: A+
Hey, remember when people were saying the Jets would come dead last in the AFC back in week 1? Well a few signings and trades and what do you know, this Jets team went from a nobody to serious contenders. With CBPOTY winner Billy and a lot of other formerly retired players(don’t forget DPOY nominee Rocket and ROTY nominee Env), the Jets were able to slowly ascend from a team that would win close to no games, to a team that was frauds, to a team that won the 1 seed in the AFC. Following this, many people said, oh the jets aren’t winning a playoff game. Well they beat the Jags and almost had a 4th quarter comeback against the Steelers in the AFC title game. The story of this season for the Jets is something of a terrible team building up and rising up throughout the season. It’s going to be exciting to watch them this season.
