Happy Christmas for those who are celebrating!
A whole lot of new teams have been joining recently. This is mainly due to older teams having internal problems, such as ownership issues, low finances, and/or overall poor performance in games. This has caused several teams to leave the Ovoskiliga to join the MKHL. Dynamo Iki, HK Zagreb Nou, and KHK Petersburg have seen this fate, but most recently, we got our first northern conference casualty.
In the last minutes of Christmas eve, Czerbfeia Bears announced on X formerly twitter, that they were rescinding their Ovoskiliga license, and were moving to the MKHL. Only a few hours later, during a storm of confusion and fear, the Ovoskiliga announced that the Lovuuv Antlers of the MKHL would be taking their spot starting in the 2025/26 season.
