Ovoskiliga; Now on Challenge Place!!!

Welcome to the Official YMW Ovoskiliga page on Challenge Place. This article shall be used as a beginning to an introduction to the league, and what to be excited for!
The Ovoskiliga translates from Mixopolan to "First League", and as the title implies, it is the first division of Mixopolan ice hockey, it's our version of the NHL! Though the Ovoskiliga as we know it was only formed in 2020, our roots head back to 1956, with the formation of the MKHHA (Mixopolan Ice Hockey Association), who would create the MKHL (Mixopolan Ice Hockey League). It had a simple league format, no conferences, and only 4 teams made the play-offs. In 1992, Septem and the Pokémon Islands, they formed their own leagues, but all 3 leagues would merge in 2020 to form a massive league, that eventually led to the creation of conferences. Now the league is better than ever, and coming off of another successful season. Last season, after not going to the play-offs in their entire short Ovoskiliga life, the York Wheelers beat a possible dynasty Tsarczervja Sinnoh to clinch their first league title since 2018, and the Northern Conferences 2nd title of all-time, and in a row!
