Coventry leveled the match at 41-41 in the last minute, then stupidly kicked the ball into the dead ball zone when the clock was red. Nottingham finished the first half 38-0 up, then started the next by getting a red card. This is what people believe caused the damage. Because after that, Coventry were getting loads of tries, just like what Nottingham had done in the first half. It was 38-34, when Nottingham's fly half scored a drop goal to make it 41-34. Afterwards, Coventry scored a converted try to level. The clock was red, possession was switching, each team desperate to get the win. But that was when it happened. Coventry kicked the ball for territory, but it went too far and the final whistle blew. No amazing try or drop goal when the clock was red. Just a kick that went too far, to end it at 41-41.
