Pre Tournament Odds Released!

Today begins the PHL 1K Tournament. People want to know the odds? They can get the odds as they are listed below(idk how to do betting odds so it’s really just rankings on probability to win it all).
8. Wisconsin Dells Monsters
It’s pretty obvious isn’t it? They by far have the weakest roster in the tourney, so this is an easy one. Next.
7. Edmonton Royals
This one was tight for me, I had another team here but ultimately decided to put them here. They don’t have a strong roster at all and might end up out after just round 1. If they don’t I can’t see them making it all the way, so I’m putting them at #7.
6. Miami Cougars
Now we’re heating up. Everyone counted this team out, but overall they are pretty balanced. You would think because of that I would put them higher, but their team isn’t as strong as some others listed above this. That being said, I can see them making it far, just not far enough.
5. Slough Jets
Yes, I know people will criticize me for putting them here, but they currently only have 3 players. The numbers game can easily catch up to them if they make it past round 1.
4. Los Angeles Heat
Some people will think this team should go higher, I don’t think so. This is because their team has a couple of good players, but other than that there isn’t much around. I think for this team to even get past SUNY in round one, they will need to be able to balance this out and out work their opponents.
3. Edmonton Blazers
Cmon, this team is losing their edge. Even though they might have players joining before round 1, it’s not looking good right now. You might then ask why I would put them here. This is because if they do get their players to join, it could be ggs very quickly. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt here.
2. Clearwater Crystals
This team has come so far to get this ranking. Their team looks stacked but there’s one problem to prevent them from getting number 1. This is squad depth. If not enough players show up, similar to the jets, this will go downhill for Clearwater and fast. This team needs to bring in more players before their first tournament game.
1. Montreal Royals
This team has it all. It has enough squad depth, enough talent in players, a big enough chance to make it all the way. Their one problem will be getting there. They will have to go through some talented teams to get to the final but I think they can do it. My bold prediction is that their star power will outweigh that of other teams, so that’s why this Royals team is at #1. I believe that this team has what it takes to win it all but are they just overrated? That is a question that will be answered tonight when they take on the LA Heat, another good team with star power.
