FWBA Official 2024 Season

Late in the 4th quarter, tempers flared as both teams battled it out for a chance at victory. (Literally). Naichi Naitou, who proclaimed she would drop 20 during her first ever pro game, would ensure that it'd happen by snagging the inbound from her opponents when the gane was already in the Win column for her squad. She'd make 1 of her 2 free throws after she was fouled to the ire of the Cougars who were already frustrated. However, after some more chatter, once she hit her free throw for her 20th point, Naichi decided to once again interfere with the inbound with only 6 seconds left, up by 6. This enraged Point Guard of the Carolina Cougars,Sarah Baskins, to the point where she would lay out the young rookie drawing a flagrant and an immediate ejection. Naichi, with a smile on her face, would proceed to drench her last two tree throws, extending the lead further with 3 free throws due to the bonus and the flagrants. Then, once it was time for her team to inbound, she'd rub more salt in the womb by stat padding another 3 pointers at the buzzer, which she hit. Just like that, the already angry Cougars would storm the bench, and a scuffle ensued. For such unsportsmanlike display, rookie Naichi Naitou was suspended for 2 games. However, Sarah, who resorted to violence, would be suspended for 7 games.
