How close is the Atarashi City manager to being sacked?

Many were surprised when Atarashi City kept their manager instead of letting him go after the disasterclass of a season where City finished 7th, horrifying 23 points off the title. A bit of comfort for the fans was provided by reaching the cup final, however City completely bottled it and ended up losing 4-1, which gave Takishingu United the trophy.
City had been very lucky with the Ultimates Cup qualification spot, because they wouldn't have got it if a team below them in the league had won the cup. However, they need to beat Queño United in order to partake in the main part of the competition, which to many now seems nearly impossible.
"I know he's not the only one at fault here, but he's not doing anything to change the current situation at the club. Our players are talented, but clearly under poor management. That needs to change as soon as possible." said one of the rightfully angered ultras after the super cup final, which City lost 2-0 to Takishingu in what was an embarrassing performance from City.
A more casual fan commented: "Honestly, he's a pretty good guy. I understand why everyone's blaming him for our performances, but I wouldn't even consider sacking him ahead of the UC qualification, we need to qualify and that won't be possible if we have a change of management a couple days before that."
There are rumours that City ultras are planning on boycotting matches until the manager is sacked, but is it really the right move to make before the two most important games of the season? The team will need all the support they can get.
