Independence Day Update!!!

Due to tight shifts in the schedules of both management and players as we all head into the Independence day celebrations, the league has come to a halt. That means, the games that were initially expected to go down on the the 23th as well as the 30th have been rescheduled. Words for the players as per the league informant, " Use this opportunity to spend time with your families". See y'all on game day.
A friendly match behind closed doors between Mchanaba FC and Kinetics FC took place at the JEDS football field yesterday with a 1-1 result splitting the honors between the two teams. It was quite an eventful friendly with a penalty goal from a goal keeper, as well as a debut goal for a Mchanaba FC youngster. Unfortunately the game saw early departures for Malakia and Raaka due to red cards.
The match didn't necessarily go as the Lambda FC captain (Mulenga) expected as he expressed his deep disappointment after the match, these were his words when asked about match, "It was embarrassing honestly", he also added, "I think we should score more goals".
