The Streak Dies

AGP Gaming came into Season 1 as semi-favorites alongside Sight Ruin. Niter was a highly rated IGL. Svorg was considered a fantastic young talent. The French duo were domestically loved. An early loss to Sight Ruin didn't seem like a big deal, as it was close and Sight Ruin were the other favorites for the season. But the missteps kept coming. The team were embarrassed on their map pick of Overpass by Ostrich Gaming, and couldn't string rounds together against Team Swift. Then what is still the most dominant win in league history left the team and organization embarrassed, as Sight Ruin obliterated them 16-3. The team were once more dominated in their following match, losing 16-5 to Ostrich Gaming, and they ended the season on as much of a high as they could get, posting 11 rounds at home against eventual champions Team Swift. The team had the first winless season ever, and everyone knew changes were coming. Many fans theorized both Chawp and Niter getting the boot, as of all players who played all six of their teams matches, they were the worst performing.

AGP Decided against the double change, instead simply removing Chawp and drafting the British Rock in his stead. The org then renewed Svorg's contract for another 3 seasons. The fans didn't think this would be enough of a change, not seeing Rock as enough of an upgrade and Niter still as an issue.

In the teams opening season 2 match, it seemed the fans were right. Despite a heroic performance from CTK, The European superteam was defeated by Ostrich Gaming 16 to 9 and their loss streak extended from six to seven. Fans had mostly given up hope, with many immediately calling for Rock to be kicked due to a dismal performance, as well as replacing Niter. This week however, it was the org who had the last laugh, as they finally broke their loss streak ina dominant win over Ninjas in Paris, winning 16-4 with Wacker putting in a dominant performance. Following the match, the team cheered at the top of their lungs and the French duo of Wacker and CTK hugged.
