An exciting matchup between Club America and Tigres has resulted in a 7-1 mercy rule (4-1 with fft) win for CA, after Tigres get a total of THREE red cards. A bad challenge and a questionable call following an unregistered alt account, and concluded with a purposeful handball by a substitute to give both a third red card and a fine were one of the factors resulting in this disappointing loss. The Tigres auto forfeited as they could not bring in a goalkeeper on time, as well as having three players sent off and overall chaos within the club. An absolute thrashing, and the Tigres will not be happy with this result as they certainly must hope that this will not happen next match. On the other hand, Club America is very happy about the result of the first game, and are looking forward to a great season.
There were many stunning goals in this matchup, Yosef scoring a beautiful shot into the bottom right corner, unsaveable by the keeper, and Mimi scoring a stunning scissor kick in the beginning of the game. We may be reminded of this matchup at the end of the season while we review the puskas contenders.
