Last week we saw Suriname power through Dominicana (or someone) and this week began no different, despite being the underdogs against legendary Trinidad & Tobago.
The match began as per usual, with amicable attacks on both sides. However, for some reason, as soon as MC CABRAS switched to Trinidad, Suriname went ATOMIC mode and scored right on the first action as well as 10 minutes later. By the time the Socca Warriors walked back into the dressing room in Fake BC Place Stadium, all hope seemed lost.
However, upon constant attempts, in the 84th EA minute the Suriname GK (whose shall not be mentioned nor remembered) let in an absolute BLUNDER of a cross into his own goal. Pumped by this energy, SCOTLAND came down from the Northern highlands of Glasgow and equalized for the Socca Warriors.
An uneventful extra time period followed and then we were onto penalties; The Socca Warriors missed one and hit the post another time, which gave Suriname the perfect edge. Legend JAP A JOE stepped up to the ball and put it in top bins; Suriname was though.
However, merely minutes after the final whistle, the LFA opened proceedings to repeat the match.
