LAST ROUND PREVIEW - EUROPEAN EDITION
2 years ago - 11/20/2023 2:37 PM GMT-3
Every year, every LCN side faces destiny in the eve of the last matchday of qualification. Let's see how European nations across the continent are doing ahead of facing said-destiny:

GROUP A

Germany is in a strong position and a win or even a draw would solidify their qualification. Denmark needs a win against Germany to secure a spot, while Wales and Bulgaria are in contention but heavily reliant on other results to progress. Serbia's chances are slim, and Bulgaria leave their destiny up to fate.

GROUP B

In a Group B full of surprises, England lead the charge after humbling the Dutch on their own home soil. Israel has lost mathematical chances to qualify, while Ukraine has it much easier than the Dutch, who would need a miracle.

GROUP C

Despite a slow start to the campaign, Spain seem to be booking their direct flight to Durban. The Slovenian warriors - who have been a surprise - and the Montenegrans - who have had the most unbalanced form known to man - face off each with 6 points. However, Montenegro's fate lies in Russia's hands who, if they beat Slovenia, will make the 3 sides equal in points. Norway said goodbye a long time ago.

GROUP D

Group D has been quite the ride; Croatia needs to beat Ireland, lest the greens catch up to them and surpass them (they both have the same goal difference, but an Irish victory would change that). A disgraced Polish side will visit Italy who, praying in the most Catholic sense, will be hoping for Ireland to be absolutely demolished by the Croats, as well as for another Polish disgrace on Italian soil. Finland, not playing this round, will watch and pray to the Nordic gods.

GROUP E

Many LCN experts have characterized this group as a 'heresy', as a 'crime against humanity' and as 'upside down'. With both Portugal and France bringing historically bad performances, their last encounter has been reduced to no more than a friendly, in which surely reserves will protagonize. Georgia risks their historic qualification being taken from them, was Slovakia to win.
