Penguin was a surprise signing for the Russian organization, as the Chinese coach was just 22, the youngest of any coach in the league. He also marked the second time ever Sight Ruin signed a non-CIS player, alongside Uge back in season 1. But Sight Ruin's high hopes for this year plummeted after a struggle in the later part of the season, and a 4-7 record was far worse than the organization and fans had expected. As such, changes were expected, and Penguin's release is the first of those changes.

In Penguin's place comes Lockdown, the IGL for Sight Ruin for 3 years, the 25-year-old is now set to begin the next chapter of his career from the sidelines.
