Week 2 MVP is given to 18 year old Aussie Star Despite Loss
last year - 2/12/2023 8:29 PM GMT-3
With three players reaching over 30 kills in their matches this week (2 in the same match) The MVP was going to be hard to decide, but in the end it went to the player who dropped 30 while losing, as pzk, the Aussie lurker and Ostrich Gaming's 18-year-old star recieves his first individual accolade. The star's Inferno performance was ostounding, going 36 and 20 while losing. What is truly amazing about this performance was that it is tied for fifth as the most kills from a single player in a single match, and all the other five were from last season's grand final and it's double overtimes. The performance ties Offman's Grand Final Inferno performance from last season's finals as the most kills in a regulation match, with pzk doing it in less rounds (29 instead of 30). The accolade was simply too amazing to not give to pzk, despite Uge and Lighter both doing very well on their own.
This week's match MVPs are as follows:
AGP Vs. NIP: Wacker (23-12)
OG Vs. TAG: pzk (36-20)
SR Vs. KKTEUJ: saok (22-12)*
SG Vs. 4AM: Shadow (20-8)
Achyllus Vs. TS: Lighter (30-12)
TBC Vs. SOS: Xzid (24-6)

*Given to saok despite more kills from Offman due to the large increase in performance from saok's first match
