Team Swift met Sight Ruin on their map pick looking to be the first to unseat the Russian team this season. A rough 6-9 CT half made it look unlikely, and when Sight Ruin got up to 13-9 the match seemed over. But a fantastic push of form towards the end of the match from Lighter and a surprising overperformance from BotCarl lead to a comeback, bringing the match all the way back to 15-14. Unfortunately for the Americans, their OT attempt was denied in the end by a 1vs2 clutch from the Russian IGL Lockdown.
