Jeffery has won player of the match against Liverpool with a 9.1 match rating only 0.2 higher than Liverpool’s Hassan. Hassan only scored while Jeffery scored 2 although Hassan had lots more chances than Jeffery.
Either way Jeffery won Man of the Match and he had an interview talking about this accomplishment. “Sunderland got a point with Liverpool it was unreal the atmosphere, the fans that was my debut at the home of Sunderland FC and it was the best. You never know maybe Manchester United was the problem. Maybe I needed to be at a smaller club and become a big man there and I think Sunderland is the club where I can become that big man.
