Fortis Season #36

As most people know, Felix du Shark went down in the Weston Eagles opening match against The Kye Bay Whales and was subbed off shortly afterwards. But what has come of it?

Well, the doctors concluded that Felix had put a lot of strain on areas in his leg and could be at risk of snapping a tendon which could end his career. Therefore, the doctors have reccomended that Du Shark take some time off.

Due to the spacing between each of the matches, Du Shark should hopefully be returning to play within the next few matches. However, Alex Stones has confirmed that he won't be playing in the Eagles next match against the Riverside Crocs who could be a tough opponent for the team.

Fortunately, Bear Bearson has been having an excellent season so far, already with a Hatrick after one match. In addition, Le Fry has been playing excellently alongside Nahon. Stones has a lot of brillaint players to fill the gap while Du Shark takes time off .

The Eagles have proven they can play just as well without Du Shark, but will it last? Really just how important is Du Shark to this newly revised squad? Only time will tell.
