FALCONS WIN IN A NAIL BITING FINISH

The OLA FALCONS beat OLA TITANS for the first time this tournament on their rematch👏🏼
The consistent trio that keeps getting buckets for the Falcons are the captain himself, Ryan Rulach with 15 points and 4 Assists, Thejaka Iddamalgoda with 16 points and 3 assists and Theekshana Ferdinando with 8 points. These three are constant scoring machines for the Falcons and Indeepa Maddumage is tied with Ryan Rulach for overall Assists (13) for the tournament. The Falcons are leading with 45 overall assists for the tournament. They make their buckets by finding their open man and running the fast breaks with Thejaka.
The OLA TITANS fall short by 1 point despite the return of the captain, Anjana Peiris and their Star player Ranuja Nilaweera. The Titans were leading until Half time but in the 3rd Quarter the Falcons managed to catch the lead and gain the upper hand. After Half time the game was very close, teams scoring back and forth. Titans struggled to get buckets under the rim even though they had the rebounding advantage with Anjana in the paint. Sajjaad Shakir had 16 points with 4 assists, Anjana Peiris had 10 points with 2 assists and Sadila Jayasinghe had 9 points with 4 assists.
This game was full of intensity between both teams giving their best on the court and overall it was a great game of basketball! Hats off to the players on the court💯
