Orientation Cup 2023 Champions and Awards

On April 5, 2023, at Gate 10 Stadium, New Res FC and Glenwood LFC were crowned the 2023 male and female orientation cup champions, respectively. This title serves as a second title for New Res FC after the covid Nineteen shutdown, and it is the first title for Glenwood LFC, who also happened to win their first ever Res League final. New Res FC No. 10, Busiswa 'Sugar' Sibiya, and S'phamandla 'Skuva' Nzuza—were crowned male's orientation cup player of the tournament and top goal scorer, respectively.
Legends FC and Seaboard LFC were crowned the 2023 male and female orientation cup runners-up, respectively. Unfortunately, Legends FC lost their second final appearance after last year's loss against John Bews in the orientation cup final. They have participated in two Res League competitions, and they happened to reach the finals in both and be crowned runners-up again. On the other hand, Seaboard LFC were playing their first ever res league final, which they reached without considering a single goal during the competition. Nqo, the Seaboard LFC goalkeeper, won two titles; she was named the female's orientation cup goalkeeper and player of the tournament.
South Beach Rangers and Howard College Superstars Ladies were crowned 2023 orientation cup finalists in third place. SB Rangers goalkeeper Vumelani Mthethwa, was crowned the male's orientation cup goalkeeper of the tournament.
