After five seasons of heartbreak, near-misses, and relentless grit, Bessie Hines grabs her long-awaited victory at Talladega Superspeedway, holding off Tarrez Martínez in a stunning photo finish. It’s her 6th career win, and her first of 2025.
2. WILD FINISH: TONY BUSCH FLIPS, BYRON ARMSTRONG INVOLVED IN LAST-LAP MAYHEM
An intense three-wide battle to the checkered saw Tony Busch flip midair, tagging Byron Armstrong in the chaos. Tarrez and Bessie surged through as the skies erupted—and so did the fans.
3. MIKAL JACKSON STILL LEADS POINTS
Despite finishing 3rd at Talladega, Mikal Jackson retains the regular season points lead with 3 wins and 494 points. He’s the driver to beat heading into Texas.
