The city of Futura is buzzing with uncertainty as their star, Jaden, is officially out tonight due to a loose axle injury suffered late in Game 3. The Pacers will have to rely heavily on Verdant, who just last game delivered a game-winning assist and two clutch goals in OT.
Verdant Pre-Game Statement:
“I don’t care who’s missing. I’m still here. This ain’t about one man. We win as a team, or we go home as one.”
Meanwhile, Sharp, still blazing hot after his 3-goal thriller in Game 2, had this to say walking into the arena:
“No Jaden? That’s game. Pack 'em up. I’m not even breaking a sweat tonight.”
With the series at 2-1 in Superfast’s favor, this is a must-win for the Pacers if they hope to even it up before heading back to Sovereign Heights.
Inside the Arena:
Jaden was seen courtside in street gear, nodding silently as his team took the field.
Coach Futura reportedly lit into the team before kickoff: “You don’t need a savior. You need fire. Bring it.”
Kickoff just happened. Let’s see if Verdant can pull off a miracle, or if Sharp is right—and this one’s already over.
